When you create an account, we store your email address and display name. You can sign in using Google, Apple, or email and password. When you add pets, we store their name, species, breed, and health conditions. When you scan products, we store the barcode, product name, ingredient analysis, scores, and scan timestamp.
Bowlwise uses your camera to scan barcodes and photograph ingredient lists. Photos are sent to our server for AI analysis and are immediately discarded after processing. Only the extracted text and AI analysis results are saved. We do not store your photos.

Each service operates under its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data required for each service to function.
Premium subscriptions are processed through the Google Play Store. Bowlwise does not directly collect or store your payment information. Payment processing, billing, and refunds are handled entirely by Google Play. Please refer to Google Play's terms for payment-related policies.
Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers with row-level security policies ensuring you can only access your own data. All communication between the app and our servers uses HTTPS encryption. We implement rate limiting and access controls to protect against unauthorized use.
We retain your account data and scan history for as long as your account is active. Rate limit records are automatically deleted after 2 hours. If you delete your account, all your personal data (profile, pets, scan history) is permanently removed from our servers.
You can delete individual pets from within the app. To delete your entire account and all associated data, use the "Delete Account" option in your profile settings or contact us at bowlwiseapp@gmail.com.
Bowlwise is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the app with an updated date at the top. Continued use of Bowlwise after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
